This location is in the TD Building on the second floor.  When you get off the elevator or stairs  turn right and we are the first office on the left hand side.

What is CVCCS?

Columbia Valley Counselling Centre Society (CVCCS) is an Employee & Family  Assistance Program (EFAP) supported and administered by local employers, unions and employee groups.  Its purpose is to provide assistance to people dealing with personal concerns.  This assistance is available to all employees (active, disabled and retired) of its member organizations and also includes their spouses and dependent family members.

Our Mission

To provide timely and confidential assessment, counselling and follow-up for a broad range of personal concerns experienced by employees and their families of our member organizations.  To advocate with our members along with other community agencies, individuals and groups, to establish necessary community resources in order that we may achieve our vision.


Company Profile

This service is based on the EFAP/ARS Model and is a joint effort supported by local employers, unions and employee groups.  It is a counselling service and resource centre which is available free of charge to any employee, retiree or their dependent family members of any of the member organizations.

Contact Information

  • The counselling office is located on the second floor of the TD Building.  The office is located away from any participating work sites to protect the anonymity of the employees who access the Service.
 

  • All clients who go for counselling do so voluntarily.  The ARS is not part of any disciplinary action associated with any employer.  For more details, please check out our Access Procedures.
